REMOTE NEUROFEEDBACK & BRAIN MAP CONSULTATIONS
Work With LuxNeuro From Anywhere In The States
Remote Neurofeedback and Coaching Across the Nation
Location Does Not Have To Be The Reason You Can’t Access This Work.
If you are outside Colorado, there are two ways to work with us depending on what you are looking for. Remote neurofeedback is available on a limited basis for appropriate clients.
Path One: Remote Neurofeedback Training
Remote neurofeedback follows the same foundational steps as in-person work at LuxNeuro: a discovery call to assess needs and fit, a visit to Denver for a brain map, and then training. The difference is that the training happens at home.
You leave Denver with a clinical grade neurofeedback system, roughly the size of a large briefcase and TSA compliant for carry-on travel. You train at home using protocols developed from your brain map. Regular supervision sessions are included to review how things are going and adjust protocols as needed. Supplies are provided. The system ships back when your remote training program is complete.
Most people plan to be in Denver for 24 to 48 hours for the initial visit. Some fly in the night before, map in the morning, and do an initial training session that afternoon before flying home the next day. Some arrive the morning of and leave the same afternoon if timing allows. Others make a longer trip of it and enjoy Colorado while they are here. All of that works.
One thing worth knowing: the brain map review is scheduled one to two weeks after the recording. This allows time for thorough analysis of the data before we meet to go over what we found together. The review happens remotely.
Programs typically run a minimum of two months, often two to four. The brain tends to learn through consistent training over time, not through compression. People need time to integrate what they are building rather than moving through a concentrated sprint.
Remote neurofeedback is offered on a limited basis because each program requires individualized review, weekly supervision, protocol adjustment, and equipment coordination. We only take a small number of remote clients at a time so the work stays carefully monitored and clinically thoughtful.
A note on scope: Laura is licensed as a therapist in Colorado only. Remote neurofeedback is neurofeedback supervision and education, not psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. If you are working with a therapist in your state, this work sits alongside that, not instead of it. If you are not currently in therapy and feel you need that kind of support, we will help you find the right direction. This service is not appropriate for crisis support. Availability may vary based on clinical appropriateness, equipment logistics, and applicable state requirements.

Path Two: qEEG Brain Map and Nervous System Consultation
Some people are not looking for a full training program. They want to understand what their brain is doing and have a framework for working with it, whether that means working with someone local, an existing therapist, or simply having better information about how they are wired.
This path starts with a discovery call, followed by a visit to Denver for a brain map. After the data is analyzed, you meet with Laura remotely for the map review and a consultation about what the data shows and how it connects to what you have been experiencing. From there you decide how to use that information.
Some people use this as a standalone. Others use it as a starting point before committing to a remote training program. Either is a legitimate reason to come in. If we do not think remote training is appropriate for your situation, we will say that clearly.
The qEEG brain map and nervous system consultation is educational and informational. It is not a diagnosis, not psychotherapy or counseling, and not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
Logistics and Investment
Denver is well connected with direct flights from most major cities. We are happy to provide a list of nearby accommodations once you have decided to move forward. The brain map appointment itself is approximately one hour. If you are adding an initial training session and system orientation, plan for an additional two to three hours. We will confirm your full schedule in advance so you can plan your travel accordingly.
Investment varies based on the program length and what is included. This is discussed during your discovery call once we have a clearer picture of what makes sense for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does remote neurofeedback work?
You start with a discovery call to assess needs and fit. If remote neurofeedback makes sense for your situation, you visit LuxNeuro in Denver for a qEEG brain map. From there, you leave Denver with a clinical-grade neurofeedback system that you use at home. You train using protocols developed from your brain map, and Laura supervises the work through regular virtual sessions where she reviews how things are going and
adjusts protocols as needed.
Do I have to come to Denver?
Yes, for the brain map. That is the foundation of everything that follows and it needs to be done in person with clinical-grade equipment. Many people make a long weekend of it. After that, the training happens at home and supervision happens virtually.
What equipment do I use at home?
You train with a clinical-grade neurofeedback system that is roughly the size of a large briefcase and is TSA compliant for carry-on travel. Supplies are provided. The system ships back to LuxNeuro when your remote training program is complete.
How often do I train?
Training frequency is discussed during the discovery call and depends on your specific situation and goals. Laura provides guidance on session frequency and adjusts as the work progresses.
Who is remote neurofeedback for?
Remote neurofeedback is for people who want to work with LuxNeuro and Laura specifically but do not live in the Denver area. It is also for people who prefer the consistency of training at home rather than coming into the office multiple times per week. Fit is assessed individually during the discovery call because remote
neurofeedback is not appropriate for every situation.
Is this available outside of Colorado?
Yes. Remote neurofeedback is available for clients in the United States where the scope and structure are appropriate. Laura’s Board Certification in Neurofeedback and Diplomate in qEEG brain mapping are national credentials. For clients outside Colorado, this work is neurofeedback supervision and education, not psychotherapy,
counseling, diagnosis, or mental health services. If you are working with a therapist in your state, this work sits alongside that.
How do I know if this is a good fit for me?
The discovery call is where that conversation happens. Laura assesses clinical fit, discusses the process and logistics, and is straightforward about whether remote neurofeedback makes sense for your specific situation. Not everyone is a fit and that is okay. If it is not the right option we will tell you honestly.
Is availability limited?
Yes. Laura works with a limited number of remote neurofeedback clients at any given time to ensure the quality and attention the work requires. Availability fluctuates
throughout the year. If there is a waitlist we will let you know.
What if I need therapy alongside this?
If you need therapy, we encourage you to work with a licensed provider in your state. The neurofeedback supervision and education we provide is designed to complement
that work, and many clients do both simultaneously. Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, so formal therapy is available for Colorado-based clients only.
How long does a remote neurofeedback program typically last?
This depends on what the brain map shows and what you are working with. Program length is discussed after the brain map has been completed and Laura has reviewed the data. She will give you a realistic picture of what the work looks like and how long it
is likely to take before you commit to anything.
