Equipment and Travel Notes
We use clinical-grade equipment because it matters. It affects signal quality, training stability, and the integrity of the process. Your system is provided in a protective travel case and is designed for safe transit, including air travel. We will walk you through transport and best practices for storage and handling.
How the Remote Process Works
Step 1: Travel to Denver
You will come to LuxNeuro for the initial phase of care.
Step 2: QEEG Brain Map
We complete your QEEG and use that data to inform your training approach.
Step 3: In-Office Orientation Sessions
We typically aim to complete one to two training sessions in the clinic so you can:
- Experience the training in a supported environment
- Learn how the system should feel and function
- Ask questions and troubleshoot in real time
- Build confidence before transitioning home
Step 4: Take the System Home
You will travel home with the equipment packaged for safe transport. Systems are sent home in a Pelican case with a TSA-approved lock. Most clients carry the case onto the plane.
Clients are responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession, and we provide clear guidance on transport, setup, care, and training use.
Step 5: Train at Home With LuxNeuro Support
Once you are home, you will complete sessions remotely while LuxNeuro provides ongoing oversight and protocol guidance. This helps keep the process grounded and responsive as your nervous system adapts.
Important Note About Scope and Outcomes
Neurofeedback is a training process, not a guaranteed outcome.
LuxNeuro does not diagnose medical conditions, and we do not promise specific results. Responses to neurofeedback can vary from person to person based on many factors, including nervous system patterns, sleep, stress, lifestyle, and consistency of training.
Our role is to provide a high-quality, data-guided process with attentive oversight so the work is thoughtful, safe, and aligned with your unique nervous system.
If you are under medical or mental health care, we encourage you to continue working with your licensed providers while engaging in neurofeedback training.

Remote Neurofeedback FAQ
What is remote neurofeedback through LuxNeuro?
Remote neurofeedback allows you to train from home using clinical-grade equipment while LuxNeuro guides your protocols using QEEG-informed planning and ongoing oversight.
Do I need to come to Denver to start?
Yes. A QEEG brain map and onboarding sessions are required in person at our Denver clinic before beginning remote training.
What happens during the Denver onboarding visit?
Your visit includes a QEEG brain map and typically one to two in-office training sessions. These sessions help you get acclimated, learn the system, and feel confident using the equipment from home.
What type of neurofeedback do you use for remote training?
Our remote program uses BrainMaster-based amplitude training as the foundation of training. Your protocols are guided by your QEEG brain map and adjusted based on your response over time.
Is this the same quality as training in the clinic?
Our remote program is designed to match LuxNeuro’s quality standards through clinical-grade equipment, QEEG-informed protocols, and consistent oversight. In-person training offers some advantages in real-time support, but remote training can still be highly effective for the right client.
How often do I train at home?
Training frequency depends on your goals, nervous system capacity, and your recommended plan. We will outline a structure that is realistic and supportive for your life.
Do you guarantee results?
No. Neurofeedback is a training process, and individual responses vary. We provide a high-integrity, data-guided process and experienced oversight, but we do not promise outcomes.
Is neurofeedback a medical treatment?
Neurofeedback is generally considered a form of self-regulation training. LuxNeuro does not provide medical diagnosis or promise treatment outcomes. If you have medical concerns, we recommend working with your licensed healthcare providers alongside training.
What if I need help while training at home?
You will have access to LuxNeuro support for guidance, troubleshooting, and protocol oversight. You are not expected to figure this out alone.
How is the equipment sent home with me?
You will take the system home in a Pelican case with a TSA-approved lock. Most clients carry it on the plane. Our team will provide instructions for safe travel and handling.
Am I responsible for the equipment?
Yes. Clients are responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession. We provide clear guidance on safe handling, setup, storage, and transport.
Can you help me plan travel and accommodations?
Yes. If you need hotel suggestions, timing recommendations, or general help coordinating your Denver visit, our office team can support you.
